The Save-R-Planet Kids event made headlines, on the front page of the The Daily Commercial newspaper. You can read the article online:
Renae Daniels strapped on a pair of roller skates Tuesday night for a special occasion when she and other children attended the Save-R-Planet Kids innaugural membership drive at the Leesburg Skate World.
“I heard about this through a friend of mine and decided to come and see what it was all about,” Daniels, 15, said.
She learned how much it helped to recycle and make the environment around her a better place. From what she saw at the drive, Daniels thinks the message was clear.
